The challenge
Dave is an independent historian publishing a steady run of Delaware history books, reviewed by Kirkus and carried by the state library system. Each book needed a cover that looked the part: professional, consistent with his brand as an author, and right for what the market expects.
Three books in, the brief never changed. Neither did the standard.
