A Layout That Honors Every Word You Wrote.
Refined. Reader-tested. Industry-standard.
Your manuscript deserves typography that invites immersion, not distraction.

You crafted every sentence with intention.
But poor book formatting can make even brilliant writing feel amateurish.
Most authors lose readers not because of weak storytelling…
…but because their book interior design feels cramped, unprofessional, or hard on the eyes.
If you’re serious about giving your book the presence it deserves, this is where it starts.

Doc Solammen
is the author of the critically-acclaimed novellas “Tangy Bonanza,” “The Nexus of Crisis,” and “Go-Devil Boogie.” He is published by Bedlam Press.
As a professional writer with three traditionally published novels in print, I wanted my first self-published book to be as polished and professional as those to which my readers are accustomed.
To that end, I was extraordinarily choosy about the freelancers to whom I entrusted the work’s cover art and layout. Ben’s stellar credentials compelled me to open a dialogue with him. I was impressed straight away with his responsiveness and focus on customer satisfaction.
Ben takes great pride in his work and quantifies success in happy and repeat customers, not dollars and cents. Impressed, I hired him—which turned out to be a perspicacious move on my part insofar as I’m ecstatic with the appearance of the new book.
In addition to completing a large and complex job on schedule, Ben cheerfully and promptly accommodated my requests to revise the one or two small details my neuroticism demanded.
Moreover, he stands behind his work to such an extent that he makes himself available to answer client questions even after a gig is formally concluded. If you’re looking for a top-tier layout artist, you cannot—CANNOT—do better than Ben.

Make Readers Forget They’re Reading
A layout that signals professionalism, care, and respect for your reader’s time from page one.
Clarity Before Commitment
Transparency is timeless. Here’s everything you need to know before we begin your design journey.
How long does the process take?
Most interior projects are completed within 14–21 business days, depending on scope and feedback speed. You’ll receive updates at each stage so you always know where things stand.
Can I request changes once I see the design?
Absolutely. Every project includes three rounds of thoughtful revisions, ensuring the final design feels like you. My goal isn’t just satisfaction, it’s alignment with your vision.
Do I own the rights to my final cover?
Yes — you receive full commercial rights to your layout, along with all final files. You can print, publish, and promote your cover anywhere, without restrictions.
Will my layout meet KDP and IngramSpark requirements?
Every file is built according to industry-standard specifications, including KDP and IngramSpark. You’ll receive properly sized, high-resolution print and ebook versions, ready to upload with no stress.
Can you format ebooks too?
Yes. I deliver both print-ready PDFs and reflowable/fixed-layout EPUB/KPF files optimized for Kindle, Apple Books, and other major retailers. Your book will look polished on every platform.
What if my book has special formatting needs?
That’s exactly why we start with discovery. Poetry collections, cookbooks, illustrated books, textbooks, and bilingual editions all require unique care. I’ll ensure your layout serves your content.
Do you format all genres?
Yes — from novels to memoirs, poetry, cookbooks, business titles, and academic works. Each format has its readability rules, and I design layouts that honor them while keeping your book timeless and professional.
How do I get started?
Simply fill out the project request form. I’ll review your details and personally get back to you ASAP to discuss next steps and schedule your design.
